SCOUNDRELS + RAKES is a visual project. A learning experience for the author on visual communication. A project to learn as an artist and develop as a photographer.
Disclaimers:
I reserve the right to change my mind. This blog is not political or apolitical. This blog is not a blog about Cameras, although I will talk about cameras from time to time.
I don't really argue on the internet. I enjoy debate and respect people's opinions and that means I enjoy learning; so sometimes I change my opinion I don't always update old posts to reflect a change in opinion or the way the world works. So trolling me over something will not result in a response.
I put stuff on the internet. Just because I put stuff out there doesn't mean everything with my name on it has been endorsed or created by me. If something concerns you; Just ask.
I am not sponsored by any company. I just am a guy with a few cameras and a desire to take photos. Photography makes me happy.
I am inspired to create new work. That means I will probably share things that are inspiring my photography or visual aesthetic. I do my best to credit original content creators for works that I share in my site. If a content owner requests that I not use parts of their original work I will remove the work and update the post to reflect the change.
I work with models. I don't discriminate on Gender, Looks, color, creed, or anything else. I think people are beautiful. I want to take pictures of people based on how they look. Sometimes I stage photos sometimes I shoot on the street. I get releases where possible. What I really hope for is that people who come here will respect the people who let me shoot them.
At the end of the day...
This site is for me. I hope you like it but if you don't I get it. Constructive criticism is appreciated but otherwise just keep it too yourself.

For Color - Kodak Portra films. I love the look and how easy it is to work with.
In general I am open to out comes and love to experiment with different formats of film and will continue to work with them more and more. Lets keep film alive.
